We have some very exciting news... We have decided to start a gluten-friendly Wellness Wednesday!
We are truly passionate about health and wellness so each Wednesday, we will be featuring some of our favourite brands, products and activities which made us feel truly great on the inside and out!
This week's focus is all about skin. It's safe to say we are obsessed with skincare at The Gluten Free Bible! This obsession began a few years ago when I couldn't figure out what was causing my skin to break out. I recall going into Sephora and Mecca on a weekly basis, searching the store to find products that would help. I decided to look at the ingredients that were in my products and noticed that my cleanser contained WHEAT! I stopped using it immediately and within a few days, my skin completely cleared. I never even considered that gluten could be hiding, not only on my plate, but in my skincare!
Since that moment, I have spent a lot of time researching, testing and reading a lot of ingredient lists to ensure that my skin does not feel the nasty effects of gluten. This week's Wellness Wednesday includes two parts of my skincare which I love and which also make me feel very relaxed and a lot less stressed! We find that taking care of our skin helps us to feel less stressed and can also be a truly relaxing experience!
